Firstly, we had to make sure we had all the ingredients. Since neither of us can drive, running to the store wasn't exactly an option--we'd have to walk--and being the lazy little hedgehogs we are, that was not going to happy. Luckily, my kitchen was stocked with the necessary ingredients, and fortunately for anyone else willing to try out this recipe, the ingredients are very basic and you probably have it lying around in your own kitchen as well!
Now time for a pictorial voyage through our endeavours of baking with strong attempts not to burn the house down!
Probably the most challenging part for us was the spooning of the dough onto the cookie sheet. Our globs were fat, misshapen, and ran into one another, but everything turned out okay! (also, yes, we used a lemon, a lime, and some vanilla paste as weights to hold the parchment paper down on the cookie sheet ✔)
The best part of baking is always the aftermath (besides the cleaning of course) because you get to lick the bowl and whisk clean, as well as...well, EAT THE COOKIES!
Well, they aren't the prettiest of cookies, but they sure were tasty! (Cue corny line) sometimes things don't have to be visually appealing to be oh so sweet and satisfying! Right? Hello? *crickets* Bueller? Bueller?
Oh, and this cookie at the bottom of the pile is my favourite because it looks like a butt (◕‿◕✿)

And if you decide to do this recipe, have fun! I highly recommend it!
♥ Sarah & Kitty, too.
